My High School Years Poem by Angela Capella

My High School Years

My High School Years

Freshman year was the year I wasn't at Gami

I was at Charter Tech

It wasn't the school for me

I did have a favorite class and that was theater

I did a monologue about a bagel and one in Italian

The worst was science

There isn't much to tell

I didn't learn a thing

Sophomore year went by in a blur

I don't remember much but the class I remember most was bio

I hated it a lot

The class was really bad

But the teacher was the best

Junior year was great

One of the best years yet

I had a couple of favorites

But the one I liked best was creative writing

He had a yearlong project

Which to me was very personal

Google Apps was the worst

It was boring and way too easy

Last but not least is Senior Year

All was fun and the best year yet

Alten's Creative Writing class was better than the rest

Racist jokes, murder, shipping, and a limbless cat, a typical Wednesday

Nothing could compare to the class I had 1st period

I didn't have a worst, all the classes were great

As for relationships, I had a few

Junior year I had one boyfriend

We dated for a while but in the end it didn't work out

Senior year was different

I had one in the beginning, it didn't last long

Now I'm currently in a relationship and I couldn't be happier

He's done so much for me and shows it everyday

I don't regret a thing

Now to thank the people that were always in my lives

My parents

They were there though thick and thin

They helped me throughout school over the years

Now its time to move to college

I am thankful for my parents and I am thankful for family

Now it's time for college and I am excited

Stockton's just around the corner and it couldn't come faster

Class of 2014 was great

But 2018 will be better
The past is in the past and I'm ready to move on

It seemed liked you were too obviously touching down on all of the requirements for this assignment. Just write about high school and incorporate each topic subtly.
