My Home is Where My Heart is

my home is where my heart is
neither in palatial building
nor in simple cabin

my home is where my heart is
neither on top of high mountain
nor across the ocean

my home is where my heart is
neither in never ending roads
nor in the place I nod

my home is where my heart is

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
