My Imagination Poem by Brittany Clark

My Imagination

Rating: 5.0

I am an eagle, flying high
Among the clouds that dot the sky.
I am a bee, flying low
And gathering pollen to and fro.
I am an ant, down on the ground
Looking for food and scurrying around.
I am a fish, swimming deep
In the rivers, lakes, and seas.

One minute I am this,
Another minute I am that.
I go from being a human
To being an alien or a cat.
I become a poet, astronaut, or spy.
When I get tired of this world,
Away from it I fly.
My imagination lets me be
Whatever I can see;
Anytime I want, whenever I want;
And that’s just fine by me.
