My Ineluctable Sickness Poem by Amgad Samy

My Ineluctable Sickness

When the word sorry isn't enough
to express my true apology
How can I have your forgiveness
if your heart is blocked with firmness?
Don't be so harsh and tough
Even jailers can show sympathy
Your moodiness steals my happiness
Your cruelty creates my loneliness
Why do I become peculiar and rough?
Do I really surrender to apathy?
I can't imagine life without your madness
As your love is my ineluctable sickness
