My Inner Monster Poem by Sarah Reamey

My Inner Monster

The monster within me wants to be set free;
But if he gets out, no one will be able to control me.

All of the anger, and all of the hate would over come me with nothing But rage; So my inner monster must remain in a cage.

All the hurt, All the pain;
Was always left out in the rain.

My inner monster is mad;
Because the way things have been, are pretty bad.

My inner monster was fed by a drug;
But now that its gone, he's out from under the rug.

He's gonna get out; I have no doubt.

And when he does, he's going to hurt;
Eveyone who's ever treated me like dirt.
