My Land Poem by Tess Rockenstire

My Land

There in the East
Where the sun rises
A land,
My land,
She stands
Like a lamp stand.
In her hand
Bearing riches
Natural and precious resources.

In her innocence,
She slumbers
Seduced by the west.
Token of favor
She allowed,
And it takes place.

There in the East
A land,
My land
She bends down,
By false propositions
She retreats.

There in the East
A land,
My land
Govern by “den of thieves.”
Once a lamp stand
Mercilessly
She needs a New Hope,
A reform,
And of a perpetual bliss.

My land
Once a lamp stand
A brigade of people
Hand in hand
They marched
In protest
Will watch,
Will be wise
And one day
She will stand strong.
