My Last Day
My last day to tell you
My last day to see you
My last day to hold you
On my last day to see you,
I am going to take all my time,
To see every feature of your face,
You lips, your teeth, your jaw line.
On my last day to hold you,
My greatest desire is: to touch your arms,
Play with your fingers, and hold your hands
This will be my treasure to take to other lands.
On my last day I will speak to you,
I want to tell you all that my heart feels,
We were never apart from each other,
you were in my heart, and I am forever in yours.
My last day to tell you,
My last day to see you,
My last day to hold you,
That day is today.
