My Life Poem by Jake Samuelson

My Life

Rating: 5.0

I am caged, tortured, desperate
I wonder how deaf i have become
I hear my father calling me
I see my mother, and sister
I want my family back
I am caged, tortured, desperate

I pretend i am home, sweet home
I feel happy if only for a moment
I touch my sisters cheek crying
I worry i will die alone
I am caged, tortured, desperate.

I understand i am alone
I say i will be freed
I dream of being happy
I try to stay alive
I am caged, tortured, desperate
