My Life As A Horse Poem by Dónall Dempsey

My Life As A Horse

Rating: 5.0

My little girl
bouncing up & down

pulling on the reins
of my hair

yelling: 'Go...
...horsie go! '

as we gallop
across

a never to be

forgotten

summer.

I like the mysticism of the poem - it reminds me the best of folklore and firy-tales - a little fairy is riding a horse yelling: 'Go...horsie go! ' with its sweet thin alluring voice...

A lovely, tenderly told tale of Tilly-land, and its beauty? What a summer, galloping cross the land this way!
