My Life My Way

Which to choose?
For the morning blues
For the daylight path
And the moonlight bath

Moral is important
So be a lady!
Don't smoke cigarettes
Don't drink beer
Don't have sex

For your future children
Set an example
Don't use swear words
Don't drink wine
Don't have sex

Which not to miss?
To be at peace
At the fall of our lives
Without tears in our eyes

You only live once
Do whatever feels right
Do what makes you happy
Enjoy your life
While still alive

Who judges you most
Envies you're bold
Enough to seize the day
To live YOUR life YOUR way!

Poem of the Day

poet Ralph Waldo Emerson

Knows he who tills this lonely field
To reap its scanty corn,
What mystic fruit his acres yield
At midnight and at morn?

In the long sunny afternoon,
