My Lights Burnt Out

You turn the lights out,
On me.
You turn the lights out,
So I can't see.
You turn the lights,
When I cry.
You turn the lights out,
So you can't see me die.
My lights burnt out,
So has my life.

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Walter Scott

The moon's on the lake, and the mist's on the brae,
And the Clan has a name that is nameless by day;
Then gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
Gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
