My Little Baby Poem by Elizabeth Walker

My Little Baby

Here in this moment peacefully you sleep,
So easily you doze no need to count sheep.
Eager and free, giddy and wild,
To be uninhibited having the carefree life of a child.
Chasing bubbles and hoarding rocks,
Learning how to put on matching socks.
Knowing you're growing still I want to be there
Showing each moment I'm here and I care.
Forever your mommy, forever my child,
Full of adventure inside burning wild.
