My Little Dog (Children's Poem)
On a tender summer afternoon,
I sat relaxing by the pool;
My train of thoughts was cut short,
As my little dog began to snore.
I smiled with joy, and looked at him:
How deep in dreams he was serene…
A wave of innocence and life
Melted my heart, and made me feel alive!
