My Little One Poem by Vera Sidhwa

My Little One

My cute one, my darling,
Your fingers are so tender.
Your breath is so fragile.
Your toes are to be counted one, two, three.

My little one, you fell from Heaven.
You cry so cutely.
You try to walk but fall down.
Then you smile not cry.

My little one, my darling,
I love you so much.
I want to hold you forever,
And ever and ever.
