My Little White Rock (Free Verse) Poem by Edwin Tanguma

My Little White Rock (Free Verse)

My Little White Rock (Free Verse)

I know
I'll never be
A part
Of any of ya'lls groups
Whether it be
MM, AA, GE, GM, ASH
HH, ANA, TH, MEA, SA
Or any other
Of ya'lls silly groups
But that's o.k.
I have a family
My Father
Is all that I need
I really don't need
Ya'lls mark of the beast
Which I believe
To be riches
Of man and credit
Sure
I'll use it
As needed
Until the end comes
But I will not
Worship it
Nor will I let
It rule me
That's o.k.
I've already found
My little white rock
With my new name
Oh
And if it
Is My Father's will
Ya'll just might find
The treasures
That ya'll seek
Because
I don't think
That I'll lead ya'll
To them
