My Loss Of Love Poem by Jonathan Wright

My Loss Of Love

Love is not for all
For some it may not come at all
One teardropp that becomes an ocean
One word that becomes a poem

One verse that becomes a song
One breath of air that keeps life
Love is not for me
Love is nothing but a dream

A dream of nothingness
A dream of night
A blank page in the book of life
My world is empty of it

Empty of another
Empty of a lover
Life is nothing without love
Therefore I am nothing without love

I wish the world would turn
Tipping luck my way
Bringing love to my heart
To my soul and mind

No longer a dream with no end
A dream no more
Life is where love should be
