smile for me, and dont ever let it fade
your smile is the one thing i want today
today and forever, i promise im here
through every smile, argument, and tear

i dont want you to doubt my love for you
i promise you with my heart that its true
it existed since i was finally able to know
how much you cared and the love you showed

and yes, i get jealous, i lose hope at times
but my love for you will never decline
ill always be there, right by your side
even if you're feelings you choose to hide

ill try my hardest to understand it all
and if you collapse, ill break your fall
i want you to know that ill never leave
and your heart is one thing i wont deceive

and the truth is, that im finding it hard
the distance and us being so far apart
but then i imagine that one day with you
and every single time, it pulls me through

you are the one thing that'll make me smile
you can see it soon, we'll just wait a while
the day will come and our love will grow
my love for you i will finally show

so now, imagine me there, next to you
imagine me whispering that 'i love you'
put your arms around me, hold me close
im holding you tight, im not letting you go.
