The very first time I saw you
I knew you were the one
and when I looked deep in your eyes
my love for you begun

The feelings started slowly
and I was careful not to show
all the love I had for you
that in my heart had started to grow

I kept my feelings hidden
and I tried not to fall
cause in secret we were lovers
and couldn't tell no one at all

I didn't want to confuse you
because you were with another
I didn't want to be the reason
for you to break up with her

The passion soared between us
and closer and closer we grew
it became so hard to hide
my deep true feelings for you

When everything that happened
left just the two of us
you told me how you felt about me
and I was elated I must confess

We went through a lot together
and now our bond is strong
for everyday I love you more
and feel like I'm right where I belong

My love for you shines brighter
than the closest shining star
and runs deeper than the ocean
which stretches out so very far

Fate has finally brought us together
as we were meant to be
In you I found my soulmate
and now my love can flow wild and free

I can't wait to start our life together
as husband and as wife
I promise to love and hold you
for the entire span of my life

I just thought you should know
how very special and important you are to me
and how just thinking of you makes me glow
