My Love Poem by Ammu Sachariah

My Love

When I bid farewell
My eyes were not wet
My cheeks were not red
And my lips were not trembled
But my heart was broken.
It was shattered like anything
You are going away from me
we will never meet again in this world.
When your body was kept
In the deep pit of the grave yard
I knew I am no more
Years and years we lived together
We fought for silly matters
And we kept away from each other
But we had the love in our hearts.
We forget all the fights within no time
IT WAS YOU
Always took the first step to compromise
I knew, for you I was every thing
But I was too proud to understand you
My ego didn't allow me to be under your arms
You made me laugh
You made me cry
You made me happy
And sometimes a Devil too.
I do not know how you feel now
Oh, I forgot, you are no more in this world
For others you are dead
But for me you are alive
In my heart
In my soul
And in my body
For ever till my last breath.
