If only you could see the agony in my heart
How will I ever begin to make a new start?
Beautiful memories of you entwined into my life
They cut through my heart like the blade of a knife.

Thought I had found my true love at last.
My tears at night I thought were a thing of my past.
In my dreams you hold me in your arms as I cry
My heart cannot accept the torment of your good-bye.

Like the ocean waves my tears will forever flow
How much I love you still is all I know.
I trust in my prayers some day you will come back to me
As I look into my future, you with me is all I can see.

When I fell in love with you I knew my world could never be the same.
Never thought my love for you would bring me so much pain.
No matter where this journey takes me, my love for you will never end.
Where ever you may be, through the whispering of the wind, my love to you I send.
