My Love, My Friend
He is not perfect,
I am not either,
but we connect,
he is a keeper.
He does not let go,
no matter how angry I get.
Our love continues to grow,
and we have few regrets.
Together through heartache and tears,
his opinion is what matters most in my life.
As we travel through the years,
I want to be a good wife.
To me he is the best,
I thank God that death is not the end.
When I go to my eternal rest,
in Heaven I will see my love, my friend.
