My Love My Gold Poem by laiba shams

My Love My Gold

you know i once had some gold
pretty expensive, to every one i told
wore it like a lucky charm around my neck
never knew all my money would be a wreck
soft it looked, but itchy against my skin
still i kept it like something off a million bucks you win
adored it not a soul
but according to my senses, it made me whole
one day came along
a group of someones who meant for me something wrong
Pushed me against a wall, and stole my gold away
Queried security, but nothing made my day
Sweat my hardest, ran the furthest
Never saw those people or my gold nor east neither west
One day i came along with my bad luck along my side
What i saw stretched my eyes wide
My precious, expensive gold in the ones accessories
i fought hard to get it back, but i guess every time i try
i always end up to freeze
my money wasted along with my strength
god will soon ask those thieves
of what i never was willing to lend
