My Man Poem by Suzanne Hayasaki

My Man

If you want to be my man
Talk to me with your hands
Make me understand with your lips
What your mouth cannot pronounce.

If you want to be my man
Make me forget who I am
Fully command my attention
Without making a sound.

If you want to be my man
Make me come alive
Drive everything thought from my head
And fill me with your presence.

If you want to be my man
Slake my appetite for passion
Awaken the sleeping parts of me
Drive away my anxieties.

Surround me with your power
And I will infuse you with my light.
