Freezing it to stay forever

cherry blossoms
fluttering around your shoulders
hugging you away
only with the fragrance
left

wishing away
under the pale moonlight
shivering away
taking the time to ponder
where you are
what you’re doing
how are you
most of all
do you miss me?

Shaking the silver wrappings
Around my memory
The letters you wrote
The letters I kept
But it’s just a memory
