My Moment Poem by Margaret Cox

My Moment

Rating: 5.0

Strolling dreamily along to post a letter
I was pleasantly surprised, what could be better
Pure white blossom adorned an avenue of trees
Surrounded by a humming myriad of bees

A whispering breeze softly wafted the flowers
A pathway of pleasure to last many long hours
Peace and serenity was all that was around
Sweet songs from the birds the only sound.

I stood and watched in a gentle calming time
And just for a while that one moment was mine.
