You’re my mum, I am proud to say
Changed my diapers, taught me how to play
Showed me things I’d see no other way
Trees, insects, snakes and flowers too
Taught me the ABC,123 and singing too
Shared your knowledge and wisdom with so much love
Just as I am you love me anyway
In times of cold you made me feel warm
And as my life crashed all in vain
You held my hand through all the pain
Knowing what is good for me
Helped me fight my battles
Healing the inside along the way
Years you spent unceasingly on your knees
Most of all showed me God’s love
Jesus eternal save
Just as I am you love me anyway
You’re my mum my hero!
