Evening is supposed to arrive
I have finished my daily duty
Now I have to go back with food
My children are waiting there.
I am a little bird, I am flying
My little nest is palace for me
Children are prince, princesses
They are waiting for little hope.
I am flying to go back to nest
Evening is very near knocking
Door I have to open and close
Children will take food in care.
I am a happy bird everyday I see
New light fills my life I rise
I know after dusk, dawn will come
In next day I will again fly.
The next day I will again fly, such simple yet grand observations. Reading this poem brings peace and a relaxed feeling always needed in these busy times. Princes and princesses in the nest/palace....wonderful.10
Even the birds know to take care of their young and anticipate a new day
Beautiful poem with a philosophical touch and endorsing the affinity of a bird with off springs as well as the nest. Enjoyed reading the poem. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
know after dusk, dawn will come In next day I will again fly... Refreshingly beautiful.
Indeed you are a happy bird flying on the wings of imagination until you seek sleep and rest in your cosy nest at night. There you will be joined by a happy throng of your fledglings and loving mate! By day break, with renewed energy, again you begin your flight! A lovely poem! A 10
I like this one! Great imagery. A wonderful bird who takes care of his nest. I like the flow of the lines too. Well done.
Superb poem Sir, I wrote a Senryu on bird's life.......Your poem covered everything in detail.
