My New Love Poem by Patricia Gale

My New Love

Rating: 5.0

Red, white, blue
Green and orange
Twirling and swirling in the breeze
Garden pinwheels fastly turning
Streams of gentle rain softly touching down
The robins singing as their wings extend

The passion of my days
Absorbing every droplet
As I smile and gently whisper
Grow my babies grow
The rain ceases as my hand grown love increases

I walk out to my love, green and lush
Feeling the wetness between my toes
The garden has been quenched and he blossoms with the sun
I gather the evening dinner
Salad for one

Tasting each delectable bite
I well up with pride
You and I did this Lord
And for this bounty I thank you
