My One Last Breath Poem by Summer Anderton

My One Last Breath

Rating: 5.0

I walk along the highway
each and every night
Letting the wind caress me
without a single fright

the moon light makes my eyes glow
and my brilliant hair shimmer
This is a night i'll always remember
As the river beneath me glimmers

My footsteps quicken
and my breath a near pant
I ascends to a jog
And I start to rant

I done with him
I done with life
I knows hes wrong
He thinks he right

The river nips at my bare skin
Finally i'm turning in
I decide with the life i have left
I inhale the water....My one Last Breath
