My Own Poem by Jessi Hardison

My Own

What if I could be one of a kind?
Be my own person, with my own mind?
Take my own chances
Worry about my own romances.
I want to be out there
Be seen with all the flair.
I love my dreams, though they are fake.
Some days, I just break.
My dreams are my secret
One I hope to not regret
