My Plan Poem by Nina gáspari

I remember when
You told me you had me figured out
How you wanted me to be
The one you wouldn´t live without
And the way our bodies collided
A combustion of what our desires had decided
But at some point
I don´t really know when
It all came to an end
And you say
We may run into each other again
Some time
And I muffled the words as I thought to myself
I can´t stop my life
To sit around and wait for you
i´m not quite sure of what i´m supposed to do
but here´s my plan
i´ll try not to get my heart bruised again….
