To the girl who never gave up
and to the boy who always showed his love.

To the moms and dads who wipe their tears
and to the Aunts and Uncles who see their fears.

To the children who wish and pray
and the reason we are here today

This is my poem to you
I sure hope it gets through.

The love you have for each other
is a love like no other

And all I can do is smile and say
“I’m glad to have a friend in you today”
