I sit and write my poems
In a room all by myself
I find that I don't really need
To be with someone else

I am perfectly happy
Just being all alone
It's the most peaceful place
That I have ever known

I don't need someone to talk with
To help me pass the time
I am very content
Being happy with my rhyme

My writing is my therapy
That I use each day
It soothes all my emotions
It takes all pain away
