My Poetry
My poetry
is my beloved one
Some says
it comes from heart
some says
it comes from mind
some says
it comes from belly
but my beloved poem
is a fairy
coming directly from heaven
on my tongue
and land on earth
through my pen
so poetry is my beloved one
she has no bar
she is in all languages
in all species
so i call her my Preyasi
if she is coming from
any part of my body
i would have said daughter
but she is coming from heaven
and she is my Preyasi
My Poetry! ! ! ...what keats calls: my demon poesy! ...what coleridge calls: my shaping spirit of imagination that nature gave me on my birth! ...marlowe calls: my muse! ....you have carried on with this celebrated apostrophe to poetry very well...
