My Prayer To God Poem by Edyth E. Ashcraft

My Prayer To God

I wish I had wings that I could hover
And fly over the world to observe.
The needs and shortcomings of my Brothers
To help and correct mankind that I serve.

We must realize there must be someone go govern
To lead an exemplary life.
There would be no more bickering, just living
But praying to God with no strife.

That all arms and armies are not needed
But with fruits from our labor to survive
We can put away all hatred created
And await for Christ to arrive.
