My Precious Heavenly Father Poem by Kimberly Lindsey

My Precious Heavenly Father

My Precious Heavenly Father,
I thank You for your grace.
I thank You for your wondrous love,
That set you on the path,
To sacrifice your son.

My precious Heavenly Father,
I thank You for Your gifts,
For each gift known, and each not yet known.
You will reveal them in time of need.

My precious Heavenly Father,
I thank You for the earth, the air,
The blood running through my veins.
I thank You for the tears I cry,
Though usually they are in vein.

My precious Heavenly father,
I thank You for this life.
Though at times, I have said to You….
I “just” want to die.
But You knew best, as You always do,
And things got better, because of You.

My precious Heavenly Father,
I thank You for all that I am.
Teach me, guide me, and make me better,
Use me in Your plan.

My precious Heavenly Father,
I thank You for life and love,
For the laughter brought into my life.
For I can be too serious, and tend to be, morose.

My precious Heavenly Father,
I am blessed so well in life.
Not in monetary, or material possessions;
But with the people in my life.

I thank You God for everything,
My children, husband, family and friends.
For there is no greater wealth,
Than the love that each expends.
