My Precious Love Poem by Bonnie Collins

My Precious Love

Rating: 5.0

As darkness settles in I can feel
and see the horizon gently fading
into a valley where tomorrow's
heartaches will anchor

Softly with only the touch of
your body next to mine with
ambers of your soft hair draped
accossed my chest, I look at the
clock, and know, the cinderella
of the night now has to pay its price

Softly I kiss your sweet lips, and hold
you once more before you depart only
leaving me with a soft shadow of your
face etched in my swolen heart taking
with you every ounce of my precious love....

Written for someone special........
