My Preferred Season Poem by Setaluri Padmavathi

Summer is my favourite season though heat is the main reason
Beautiful jasmines came up with pleasant fragrance once again
In addition, they decorated the mother land as white as snow
Some of the trees allowed their colourful flowers to throw.

School going children appeared happy as they get vacation
Parents and doctors encourage them to have a precaution
Teachers certainly take a chance to rejuvenate enthusiasm
Bus-stations and railway stations organize an easy tourism.

Summer brings us many gifts which are precious
Tropical fruits like papaya and melon that are delicious
Vendors welcome us with mangoes which are colourful
Parlours attract us with ice creams that are seasonal

People try to have a comfortable shaded accommodation
Inverters and coolers added an extra commemoration
Pretty kids with colourful dresses roam around exhibition
Discount sales in nook and corner provide an attraction.
