My Reality Poem by Tasha Evans

My Reality

Rating: 5.0

Razor pain runs down my spine
As I call your name out every time
Darkness in clouds of smoke
Light has its own dark cloak
Shadows closing in on me
Surrounding me in eternity
Running away; Nothing there
Memories rip and tear
On the brink if insanity
Hopeless fools of humanity
Spiraling masses surround my head
Believing now that I am dead
Evil covers what I can see
Masquerades as reality
Fills my head with sounds of screams
Waking up to a dream
