My Reason Poem by Phil Whittaker

My Reason

i leave a mark on the world cus it left one on me,
im no longer a boy, a man to be,
Teenage years squandered on living,
A life i dont wish to live,
Tears and blood shed more like a war,
living my life is a battlefield,
where i wish to be scorched.

Im the general of my body,
but i dont control my life,
the government have ruined,
the very reason to live,
i will not work until i die,
i will not go without a battle cry,
my life will be fun,
no need for guns,
i now have a purpose,
a reason to live,
A reason to breathe
Why i shouldn't make the world greave,
the loss of another intelligent lad,
im staying alive
And its just for you.
