My Request For Your Love Poem by Quir Diing Jr.

My Request For Your Love

I was just under the shade
Believing not what I saw
And my veins got warmed up
It then grew into my soul
And finally the blood stood still
As my windpipe got blocked
The unblamed shape of yours
Like that of the southern belle.

Think twice, they said
Is the term, but what I did
Was the other side of the coin
I was blinded by your beauty
Your shape killed me
Your face dressed up my dead body
Your hair placed me in the coffin
The way you move salvaged me
And your behavior buried me.

How do I approach you?
Oh no! You have done away with my heart
You hold it right in your hands
Now am heartless
Let it fall off not my dear
You complete me
Whenever I listen to rhythm and blues
I sing a long and sing you
And altogether,
You have won my heart
Like a gold medalist.

A chance I need
Seeing you in the garden lined
With lilies
Walking through the field of roses
Witnessing reflection among
The carnation of still waters
Comparing you with angels
From east, those from west
Angels from north and those from south
You are the firefly at night among them
And therefore, my love here
I reveal to you.
I need you!

An insightful depiction of love at first sight - a first sight instinctive liking, well articulated and nicely brought forth from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. Beautiful romantic poem elegantly penned with insight. Thanks for sharing Quir.
