My Road Poem by Mason KT Goldstein

My Road

I walk this road all alone
It’s the path I’ve chosen to go
No one will keep me from moving
I’m like the wind I never stop losing
I look to the sky and all I can say
Is I did it again no help no gain
Yes push me aside
Yell out my name
Hate me if you dare
It wont gain you fame
I wish to the stars
That I would let it in
But it’s not just me
I’m saving my own skin
But I have realized now I let you all down
Im saying good day
Instead of goodbye
I hurt in stead of healing
I put my face in that mirror
And all I can see is an empty soldier
Sitting there alone
No one to hold on this empty little road
Can you come and help me
To save my own date
No don’t help don’t do it please
I want to walk in this stance
Until I fall of a lance
Hitting my shield
Taking me down hurt me aside
Of the old space bound
Cause I walk all alone on the lonely little road

I have no words. It was awesome, I am seriously struck with awe.
