My Rowboat Poem by tochukwu nwankpa

My Rowboat

Upon river Thames
My little boat rowed gently
Causing ripples on the surface of the water
the evening was calm as I glided through the river
I saw young lovers making promises
I saw families holding picnics
A father teaching his son how to fish
A painter with his brush trying his oil canvass
I left my mind to traverse
across that little verse
''life is but a dream''
