There is something I should tell you
It's not easy but it's right
When I held you I knew you'd tell me
Everything would be alright

Strung along and sown in part
Into your heart I belong now
You played your role the acting art
That's a wrap and that's the start

Of this heartache watch the seams fray
This sad story watch the scenes play
And your tears fall from a dark place
Rolling wonder down a lonely cold face

I traced the stitches, yeah I knew better
I searched the wounds within your heart
Your scarlet letters I failed to open
Cause i was hoping this wouldn't start

But this world of glass shatters
Pieces of heart matter pile up as they gather
Broken loveliness sharp and bleeding
Nothingness now is what I'm feeling
