MY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
The creak of his shoes can be heard in a mile
This sound, it fades all the smiles
Silence will sprout from the deep underground
Everyone will hide so as not to be found
They button-up their collars, pull their pants high
To look smart and studious, they try, try and try
He narrows his eyebrows
And snitches his nose
He slowly turns to the sides
Searching for our hides
When the creak of his shoes, faint in sound…
From the corners, students bounce
And begin their routine again
Until the creak of his shoes are heard again! ! !
