My Shining Star Poem by Kristinahh KIMBER

My Shining Star

All night long the tears compress
down the cheeks they call their beloved home
these tears now suiters for the blush on my face
the tears now drained from my black timid eyes
could you still be ten feet tall
if you knew your words made these tears, my love
could you still shine as bright as a star
stnading on the deep black sky as if so strong
not able to hurt one so deeply
all night i lie thinking of the times you stood
supporting me up so tall i could see the world
brightening up with the gifts of your brightness
you were my beloved shining star
brighening my world, enhancing my eyes
showing me the love i couldnt see on my own
but like all stars you burnt out
and as the words left your cherry sweet lips
the fire in my heart burnt out
now only cold enters.. the flames are gone
forever untill the sun burns out. and the moon is alive
will i have to stay awake through the night
giving off tears to the place that theyll sleep
closing my eyes so i dont remember the colours
now that ive seen them, i can no longer hold on
for i know how if feels, to fall in love
and it hurts more now. then you would ever know
