My Shooting Star Poem by Francie Lynch

My Shooting Star

Rating: 3.5

I gave an idle
Skyward glance,
When night
Is blackest blue;
There flared
A meteor,
Long as a blink,
Through my
Atmosphere.
It helped,
I think,
I realized,
How you once
Caught my eyes.
