My Sister Poem by Rajendra padhi

My Sister

MY SISITER
The delight of exploring her
Wheeling around my wrist in the thread,
Diligent, with no other thought but love
The dear tears of her joy where I live upon
Weighs the soul as the reflection of my own,
A sweet morning she longs for once in a year
Blooms as a flower making me her gardener,
She is a magnet drawn to the iron
A bond of eternal powers hidden there,
The two flowers from twining stems
Tender in hearts arching radiance prudently,
Equal like stars uniting rays in brief hours
The blessed light together rising up high,
Our home is a paradise never proved false
Holy as light beams in the feelings of love.

Now we live in a world in eagle’s flight
Relations fall like feathers of a dove,
We lose no time for the blood of our own
Who else than our sisters!
So true, so pure even beyond our reach
A sweet-spoken girl with ascetic looks on eyes.
