' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' My Situation(For Ruthie)

Rating: 2.9

The desert
seeps under the bedroom door

even my imaginary friend
doesn't want to know

me no
more.

The bottomless depths
of an ocean

moved in last week
'Only for a week...you understand? '

But, there's no sign
of it

moving out
again!

My shadow's
disowned me.

The Himaylayas
have taken over the kitchen.

I can't even begin to scale
the heights of the depths

of their depravity.

And they never
wash up!

I am beside
myself

to know what
to do.

And that's why
I'm asking you

'What would you do
in my situation? '

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Ruth Walters 22 November 2009

I would become very small, like a mosquito and fly away, biting and nipping anyone who dare try to stop me...I am a free spirit and must always be free to be truly happy....that's what I'd do. Ruthie: o)
