My Solution Poem by Amelie Anonymous

Shivers running down my back
And tears filling my eyes
Once again I am alone
When I let down my disguise

I’m hearing noises in my head
Voices of confusion
And once again turning to self harm
Seems to be my only solution

I feel the blade cold against my wrist
As all feelings begin to disappear
I’m not scared of it anymore
No longer I have fear

I push down hard and feel release
And watch the blood run down
I embrace the darkness
As I fall to the ground

And now I’m gone I wonder why
I ever had the delusion
That dying is not the answer
For it is the solution
